Movie #1 - TRUE GRIT

True Grit? More like True Sh**. If I wanted to watch a boring western with cheesy humor I would have watched Shanghai Noon.

Movie #2 - BLACK SWAN

Hey Black Swan, thanks for ruining Natalie Portman for me, forever. I found her more attractive when she had her head shaved on that V movie. And did you even entertain me? No, this was a big Black Yawn.

Movie #3 - 127 Hours

Hey, wanna watch James Franco stuck in a canyon for 127 hours?....

Me neither.

Movie #4 - The Fighter

*In Boston Accent* - "Who wants to watch another boxing movie in here??"

"Not you. Not you. Not you... Not you... Not you.. Not you..... and not me."

Movie #5 - Inception

Here's to a mormon appropriate and less interesting version of "Shutter Island".

I would have cried more if the kid gave away his iPod.

Movie #9 - Winter's Bone

I honestly just found out that this movie existed. No comment.

Movie #10 - The Social Network

A movie with the kid from Zombieland (nerd), A former member of N'Sync (nerd), and the next Peter Parker (super nerd)... Being seen at a screening of The Social Network = SOCIAL SUICIDE. srsly.

Good Signs:

1. As me and Anna spied on them walking to a part of their date, they were laughing and giggling, but not holding hands.

2. Erin told me that later, they did hold hands eventually.

3. As you could tell about the picture, he hung out in our hotel room for a while. I almost offered him half of my bed to sleep in if he wanted. almost.

4. He laughed at my jokes.

5. We have matching glasses.

6. I told him I would write his blogs about his dates if he wanted me to, he seemed enthused.

Bad Signs:

1. Laker Fan. That is a little disheartening. But I am very much more a Heat hater now than a Laker hater.

Overall Reaction:

I think Erin will get a second date. If not, maybe me and Rick will hang out sometime, I just won't tell Erin.

There were a lot of great movies this past year (and I still haven't seen some of the good ones like The Fighter and 127 Hours). The best thing is that all of these movies are about all of my favorite subjects: Facebook, Ballet, Ex-boyfriends, Cowboys, Insanity, and Action Figures.

Believe me, I never thought that in my top 6 albums of any year I would have 3 rap artists and Linkin Park. Biggest Villain of 2010
(my favorite person to hate.)
Lebron James.

1. You make a team do EVERYTHING for you. (Seriously, you were basically the GM of the Cleveland Cavaliers)
2. You give up on that very team in the NBA playoffs because it's.. too hard. (it's pretty obvious) And by the way, your team obviously didn't suck because you won over 60 games and had the league's best record.
3. You slap your team in the face on National TV by announcing you will be aligning with two other superstars in Miami... oh yeah, and you tell them only a week before free agency starts so they don't have a chance to try and get anyone else.
4. Most recently, you've aligned yourself with the league by saying they should decrease the amount of teams and have less players, making only the best play and losing jobs for many.
5. You're evil. And I used to love you.

Me: Lebron, You're breaking my heart! You're going down a path I cannot follow!
Lebron: Because of my decision?
Me: Because of what you've done... what you plan to do! Stop! Stop now... come back... I love you!

2010: Jordan's Year in Review.

2010 is over. Thank the Almighty Creator (Jeff Bridges in Tron). 2010 has been a trip for sure; one that I won't soon forget. But I am very excited for 2011 and a fresh year to work with. LET'S HIT THE HIGHLIGHTS.

At the beginning of 2010, I was in Amarillo, TX. A spunky little town known for its strip clubs and big 72 oz steaks. This is a picture of Cadillac Ranch (a place where Cadillacs just stick out of the ground). This is what Amarillo considers a tourist attraction..





Amarillo was bitter cold and I had to BIKE in it. Everyone there would say, "This is the coldest, most snowy winter we've ever had. I feel sorry for y'all bikin'." Thanks, Amarillolites.

February 24th (My birthday) was pretty nonexistent as it landed on transfers. I think I went to a chinese buffet to celebrate. I DID buy my infamous cowboy boots around this time though.



A few weeks later, I was moved to Lubbock. In Lubbock I was put in charge of about 50 cars. I was the Vehicle Coordinator, but I was also known as Car Tsar and Fleet Commander.



On August 11th, I finally made it back to my family and friends, it was probably one of the happier moments of my life. Lots of fun.









After Getting home, I took a couple of trips to the concrete jungle; New York.



I won't get into the details here, most of you know the story, but let's just say that sometimes love hurts and other times love leaves you alone in the Bronx. And while you wander the Bronx alone in the middle of the night, you have to deal with shifty taxi drivers and eventually sleep on the floor at the JFK airport with a bunch of Europeans.

Besides the NY ordeal, being home has been great. I've enjoyed time with family and friends. Some of the more important things that have happened include:

1. I started Blogging. (Thanks to Anna Mae Spencer for that one)
2. I finished my 3rd Semester at UVU. (Makin UV Better!)
3. I got a job as a grader for the Online public speaking class.
4. I defeated Evan Spencer in a game of NBA 2k11, 91-90. I hit a shot with less than a second (.8) remaining on the clock. Greatest game of the year.

6. I started coaching my first high school basketball team with Nick Piepenbrok.
5. I enjoyed my first Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family in nearly 3 years.
